Sign UpPenn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is a 142-bed, five-story acute care hospital in Lancaster County that gives residents of Lancaster and York counties enhanced access to Penn State Health’s expertise and specialty services without having to make the drive to Hershey.
The project will create hundreds of career opportunities, both during construction and once Lancaster Medical Center is operational.

Inpatient Services: Adult acute care hospital services, including Emergency Medicine, Labor and Delivery, Operating Suites and Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Outpatient Services: Women’s Health, Lab, Imaging Services, Surgery and Noninvasive Diagnostic Cardiology
This fifth acute care hospital, is foundational to Penn State Health’s community access strategy designed to ensure that the communities we serve are within 10 minutes of our primary care providers, 20 minutes of our specialty care services and 30 minutes of a Penn State Health acute care hospital.
